It's also a hard show to marathon, as compelling as it is. There's nothing worse than one that disappoints or falls flat, and considering what a great series BB has been so far, I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one who's seriously upset. This is the same for any book, and maybe you're right and that is why George R. R. Martin is taking so long with the final book or two of A Song Of Ice And Fire. Fingers crossed! It's tough getting and ending just right but when you it satisfies any reader or watcher.Sheena-kay Grahamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17712661419116636671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8281000668036619727.post-40840025541000547012013-08-09T11:15:26.123-04:002013-08-09T11:15:26.123-04:00Thanks for the shoutout Jeff! :)
Ending are reall...Thanks for the shoutout Jeff! :)<br /><br />Ending are really vital - especially with a series. Totally agree with you on the MASH finale btw! I do prefer those happy endings, but I can totally agree with another kind if it works. Love Donna's example of I am Legend - so true. It worked best for the story so it was good.<br /><br />On a happy note, I finished another book last night that had the perfect ending! :)Jemi Fraserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02214408467456320167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8281000668036619727.post-51321420588263905692013-08-09T08:07:00.969-04:002013-08-09T08:07:00.969-04:00"It doesn’t have to be a happy ending, but it..."It doesn’t have to be a happy ending, but it has to be the right ending. "<br /><br />Yes! It has to be satisfying. I like to use the I Am Legend film as an example. A happily ever after would have been Will Smith finding the cure and leaving with the woman and the boy. But there was something right about him sacrificing his life. It satisfied.<br /><br />For me, Mockingjay ruined the Hunger Game series. I know many, many people who agree with me. And probably as many who don't.<br /><br />That makes it really rough on the writer. What works for one reader doesn't for another.Donna K.
