I never print out ms's. Too much money on paper and too many dead trees. And I save to an online site but never "Save As." OK, once in a while, if I'm going to delete whole chapters, I make a "Original" folder and put the old ones in there. I'm not a hoarder, but my husband never throws away anything, convinced he'll need it for something some day. (He saves things like broken lighters and old car mats.)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07735576044552810103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8281000668036619727.post-63683959325896897222016-09-22T13:04:10.193-04:002016-09-22T13:04:10.193-04:00Well, I think you answered your own question earli...Well, I think you answered your own question earlier on. Computers can fail unexpectedly, and who's to say our email won't get hacked, something won't happen to the cloud, etc? Short of a natural disaster, nothing should happen to a piece of paper. However, I haven't printed anything for a long time, mainly because our printer is temperamental and now refuses to work at all. So yeah, another piece of technology to replace!Nick Wilfordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03841776353790635132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8281000668036619727.post-41726067621174036072016-09-19T20:51:25.815-04:002016-09-19T20:51:25.815-04:00-Donna--well, you know, you've got to get ever...-Donna--well, you know, you've got to get every last possible ounce of work out of it! I just believe I have the instinct of paper and indeed my own historian. Glad you have a new computer Jeff. Now get cleaning and writing! :)Sheena-kay Grahamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17712661419116636671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8281000668036619727.post-6816424687001014312016-09-19T10:09:34.945-04:002016-09-19T10:09:34.945-04:00You are not alone. I have no idea why I keep them; it's not like the notes on them are of any use anymore.
